  *NOTE: This upgrade is only for current PC-ACE Pro32 users who have already installed PC-ACE Pro32. This is not the full version of the software. To obtain information on the full version of the software, click on Agreements from the Part A EDI web page.

PCACEUP 1 65.EXE - ONLY for versions prior to January 2003 (1.54.0.300)
This file contains the January Upgrade to the Medicare Part A PC-ACE Pro32 software.

*NOTE: The PC-ACE Pro32 update program has been modified to no longer support versions prior to the January 2003 release (1.54.0.300). If you possess an older version installation, you will need to first update your Pro32 to 1.65.0.200. You will then be able to run the current update program to bring the installation up to the current production level.

PC-ACE Pro32 Additional Information
- Attending Physician Tax ID Supplemental
  Attached are the procedures for adding the physician tax id to the physician record if you are entering your claims manually or importing a UB92 emc file. These instructions also show you how the Federal Tax Id. can be added to the EMC file by including an additional Record Type 80 and giving it a sequence number of 11, indicating Payer A. (The UPIN will continue to be provided in the original Record Type 80, with a sequence number of 01.) Just remember to enter a value of 'FI' in field number 4 of the new record to identify the Physician Identification as being a Tax Id.
  
  *NOTE: The physician's name must be identical in both Records (RT 80) or the second record will overlay the Physician name field in the first. Please see attached.
- Edit for Payer ID When Importing a UB92 6.0 File
  When importing a UB92 6.0 file, the following changes will need to be made so that while importing, the software does not edit for the payer id.
- NPI and Taxonomy Guide
  This guide will help you populate the provider table in the PC-ACE Pro32 Software with your facility-level NPI and your Taxonomy code.
