Setup Instructions
1. Sign up with AdminaStar Federal - Complete the ERA Agreement Form
2. Obtain ERA Software using one of the options listed:
- Software Vendor’s ERA software program – Make sure your vendor offers the capability to print out the HIPAA compliant ERA file. Some vendors also offer the ability to post the information from the ERA as well.
- PC Print Software Version 3.6.0. This FREE software is available for providers that do NOT currently have capability with their software vendor, this includes PC-ACE users. PC Print is only compatible with officially supported Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
3. Obtain Communication Software using one of the options listed:
- Software Vendor – If using your current software vendor for the ERA, communication software will be provided by them.
- MedAComm software – If using the PC Print software and you do not have communication software available, download the communication software from AdminaStar Federal called “MedAComm”.
