Setup Instructions

      1.  Obtain ERA Software using one of the options listed:

1. Software Vendor’s ERA software program – Make sure your vendor offers the capability to print out the HIPAA compliant ERA file. Some vendors also offer the ability to post the information from the ERA as well.



2. Medicare Remit Easy Print (MREP) Software  – This FREE software is available for providers/suppliers that do NOT currently have capability with their software vendor, this includes Express Plus users.

      2.  Obtain Communication Software using one of the options listed:

1. Software Vendor – If using your current software vendor for the ERA, communication software will be provided by them.



2. MedAComm software – If using the MREP software and you do not have communication software available, download the communication software from AdminaStar Federal called “MedAComm”.

      3.  Sign up with AdminaStar Federal - Complete the ERA Agreement Form
