- National Government Services administers the Medicare home health and hospice contract for the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin, and the U.S. Territories of American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands serving over 3,100 home health and hospice providers of service.
- National Government Services administers the Medicare Part B (medical insurance) contract for the states of Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, and New York serving over 208,600 Part B physicians and providers of service.
- National Government Services is the Jurisdiction B Durable Medical Equipment Medicare Administrative Contractor (DME MAC) for the states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin which serves over 19,500 durable medical equipment suppliers.
- National Government Services currently administers all the Part A functions for free-standing federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) nationwide serving over 3,300 FQHC clinics.
- National Government Services developed and maintains the Next Generation Desktop (NGD) system 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It interacts with all Medicare claims processing systems and multiple other government data sources, is capable of hosting 5,000 customer service agents and thousands of Web users simultaneously, and processing over 2 million inquiries per month.
- National Government Services processed over 206 million Medicare claims and administered benefits of more than $86.9 billion from the Medicare Trust Fund in 2009.
- Responded to over 9 million phone calls, 48,000 written inquiries, and 1,450 Congressional inquiries from the Medicare community in 2009.
