Access to your claims through the 1-800-MEDICARE Speech-Automated System is available 24 hours a day, including weekends.
By calling 1-800-MEDICARE, you can speak with a live person about your claims by speaking certain phrases through the 1-800-MEDICARE Speech-Automated System. See below for examples:
Part A claims, say, ‘Hospital Stay’ between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
Part B claims, say, ‘Doctor Services’ between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
DME claims, say, ‘Medical Supplies’ between 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
While you can speak to a live person 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, most claim access is limited to 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
